Students
Bookstore
The BRTC bookstore features new and/or used books for every class offered at BRTC.
The bookstore also has clothing, backpacks, gifts, cards, health and beauty aids,
class and nursing supplies, even Jelly Bellies. Don't forget the
fall and spring book buy-back held during the last day of finals. Students
can get cash for most of their used books during this one-day event.
Library
The BRTC
library has over 25,000 materials for students' use. The
knowledgeable library staff is willing to help any student, whether
on-campus or online, with reference material, CD-ROM and online indexes
and database, as well as locating information and references.
Tutoring
If you feel like you need extra help in your
classes, the
BRTC Tutoring Center
offers tutoring in math and English. Tutors will also work with students
to improve his or her study skills as well as provide assistance with
course content. Currently,
Smarthinking, an online tutoring
service, is available to all BRTC students and can provide assistance
with the following subjects:

Math Skills, Pre-Algebra through College Algebra,
Trigonometry, Geometry, Single Variable Calculus)

The Username is FirstNameMiddleInitial.LastName and the
Password is the
last four digits of the student id number (not SSN). Student
ID numbers are located on the Student ID card and on the
front page of their Campus Connect account.
CampusConnect
Students use
CampusConnect, the college's registration and grade management system,
to
register for classes,
-
check their mid-term and final grades
(mid-term grades are not mailed to students),
Review their accounts and financial aid,
pay on their accounts,
view their current class schedule,
look at their degree plan,
view their unofficial transcript, and
update their demographic information.
